Kat is lead author of a new paper in Cambridge Prisms: Coastal Futures. This project assembled a database of more than 1,100 entries documenting the gender demographics of recipients of scholarly awards and invited keynotes within coastal geoscience and engineering (CGE) over the past 50 years. We additionally reviewed publicly available nomination and selection procedures to assess transparency and inclusivity in award processes. You can access it here.
